ArtNet Pixel Controller - deskontroller LITE V3 160 universes

High capacity for expansive, immersive canvases.

Tempo zoning for pragmatic refresh.

100+ ICs supported.

160 Art-Net universes (81,920 channels).

General description

The deskontroller LITE V3 – 160 universes maximizes density per unit: 81,920 channels (≈ 27,200 RGB pixels) with 40.4 FPS (normal) and 56.3 FPS (turbo).

Built for monumental and immersive installs where a single central “brain” simplifies ops, reduces failure points, and optimizes cost per universe.

Integration & software (protocols, mapping, performance)

End-to-end Art-Net I–IV with full compatibility:

MADRIX, Resolume, MadMapper, TouchDesigner, GrandMA, MagicQ, xLights, QLC+. With 160U, drive very large canvases while keeping motion smooth 40 fps and surfaces in sync.

Outputs (output architecture)

8 RJ45 → 32 lines (WS281x) / 16 (APA102), 8 adapters included, 100 m CAT6.

Segment-based topology (rings, columns, curtains, ceilings), clear labeling, and fast service. Fewer external boxes, consistent latency, centralized control.

The deskontroller lite v3 160U targets large-scale installs:

32-output mode (5U/port): up to 850 RGB or 640 RGBW per output. Total: up to 27,200 RGB or 20,480 RGBW pixels.

16-output mode (10U/port): up to 1,700 RGB or 1,280 RGBW per output.

Advanced per-port control (5U/10U), contiguous/interleaved mapping, mirroring; ideal for façades and wide canvases.

5 V data; independent LED power; UTP up to 100 m (conditions apply).

Configuration & user experience

All in the browser: network, 160U allocation, per-line chipset/order, gamma, and Status to monitor packet integrity at scale.

Pixel tests sweep long runs; Discover maps nodes on complex switches/VLANs. Presets for daily shows vs. headline events.

Firmware, testing & maintenance

Fast updates; standalone effects to validate huge areas without a server; Status and Discover for quick diagnostics.

Engineered for 24/7 with protections that hold performance under load/temperature.

LED compatibility (strip types, voltages, mixing)

Supports 100+ addressable ICs: WS (WS2811/12/15/18…), SK (SK6812/6805…), APA (APA102/DotStar/APA104), TM, UCS, LPD, HD/INK, and more. Data logic at 5 V; power your LEDs at 5/12/24 V as required.

RGB and RGBW strips, encapsulated pixel nodes, and matrices—set chipset and color order (RGB, GRB, RGBW…) per output for a unified look. For long runs or high density, pair CAT6 with power injection at strategic points to keep brightness and color consistent across the canvas.
