Art-Net proxy – broadcast to unicast converter

Hi all.
Due to problems that many people have with Art-Net broadcast mode used by many programs, I have wrote a small windows application to convert Art-Net multicast / broadcast to unicast.

This involves the use of a dedicated windows XP machine with 2 ethernet adapters, to act as a “proxy”.

Don’t waste time attempting to run with only one computer proxy and controller, they DON’T WORK.

One ethernet adapter receive Art-Net broadcast from controller, and the other ethernet adapter outputs in unicast to IP adress configured for each universe.

Using Tinkerkit DMX shield with deskontrol DMX library

How to use TinkerKit DMX shield in UART mode with deskontrol DMX library.
With this shield you can use 1 DMX universe.

In order to use the TinkerKit DMX shield in UART mode, you need to move this bridges: DE-ENABLE, RE-ENABLE, TX-SELECT, RX-SELECT to pads 2 and 3. (the oposite as come by default)

After searching the web for Arduino DMX libraries, and test, we find no library allowing the use of multiple DMX universes and that did not use the timers of the arduino, so finally decided to create it.

Information about SPI digital led strips

When comparing SPI digital LED strips, we must consider the number and type of integrated (drivers) used per meter or quantity of LEDs. There are strips where only you can control three or more LEDs at a time and others where if we can handle each LED individually.
If we use the strips to display graphics on a screen, curtain or other, we would handle each pixel individually.
